    December 2006 take home pay index report
    5 December 2006 - The Voca take home pay index shows that the growth in take home pay has fallen to 2.6 per cent in November from 3.3 per cent in October. This is the lowest level in the index’s two year history and represents a halving of pay growth since its peak in July.

    7 November 2006 - The Voca take home pay index shows that disposable income growth has slowed sharply, to 3.3 per cent in October from 4.2 per cent in September. Cebr analysis attributes this to increased levels of unemployment. The index was last at this low point in April 2006 and peaked at 5.2 per cent in both June and July.

    31 August 2006 - The Voca take home pay index shows growth in take home pay steady at 5.2 per cent in July. The index, which is based on a three month moving average, has flattened out following two months of increases.

    6 June 2006 – Growth in take home pay rose in May to 4.0 per cent from 3.3 per cent in April, according to the Voca take home pay index . The index had been falling steadily since the start of 2006 after rising to a high of 5.8 per cent in December 2005.
