7 May 2008 – VocaLink’s latest take home pay index for April shows a considerable rise to 4.2%, driven by the income tax changes introduced in Gordon Brown’s final budget as Chancellor.

8 April 2008 – This month’s VocaLink take home pay index saw another slight rise from 3.4% to 3.6% in March, continuing the upward trend for 2008
March 2008 take home pay index report
5 March 2008 – This month’s VocaLink take home pay index rose to 3.4% despite a dramatic fall in take home pay growth in the manufacturing sector. This follows on from last month’s index which reported the lowest recorded figure since 2006.

8 January 2008 – The VocaLink take home pay index increased to 3.4% in December from 3.2% in November. Despite this month’s slight increase, 2007 has proven to be the weakest year for pay growth since the inception of the VocaLink take home pay index in 2005

The VocaLink take home pay index registered 4.1% growth in May, the second consecutive month which has shown annual pay growth of above 4%. This is the strongest two month recording since August and September 2006
