VocaLink was created on 2 July 2007. The group brings together the two market leaders in electronic payments and transactions. In 2005 Voca and LINK Interchange Network joined forces to deliver the UK’s Faster Payments service. Our joint venture company, Immediate Payments Limited, was created and we began working together to bring real-time payment capability to the UK. Both companies have impeccable service records, the confidence of the financial community and the passion to move the banking industry forward.

We adopt an open approach to innovation. Some of our new transaction services are launched in partnership with other specialist providers. These include:

OneVu – in partnership with CheckFree Corps, offers electronic bill presentment and payment services to deliver electronic bills through online banks
MONILINK™ – in partnership with Monitise, this is a mobile banking application for mobile phones and PDAs
Immediate Payments – delivering real-time payment services
Prepaid Cards – in partnership with PrePay Technologies Ltd, we provide banks with access to prepaid, reloadable cards that are Maestro™ branded.
