Marion King, Chief Executive Officer

Marion joined Bacs in 2002. She has built on the organisation’s impressive service record and transformed key aspects of the business including its governance structure which resulted in the infrastructure company being renamed Voca in 2003. In July 2007, Voca merged with LINK Interchange Network to create VocaLink. Under her leadership, the company delivers reliable solutions for a changing world through partnerships with best-in-class industry providers and the unique expertise of VocaLink’s people.
Marion has over 15 years experience in senior level management. Before joining the company, she held global leadership roles in Reuters, including managing director of its East Asia operation, and managing director of Reuters Global Transactions.
Richard Parker, Chief Financial Officer

Richard joined Bacs in 2003, and is responsible for all aspects of financial management. He directs the accounting, commercial, procurement, legal and risk & compliance functions for VocaLink. He has been instrumental in delivering a financial plan that simultaneously meets shareholder needs whilst serving the company’s ambitious growth objectives.
Richard has over 20 years experience working in senior management level roles in retail financial services. His career includes working for IBM, NatWest, Britannia Building Society Group, KMPG and Deloitte.
Martin Wilson, Chief Commercial Officer

Martin joined Bacs in 1999. In his current role, Martin is responsible for VocaLink’s commercial growth including sales, customer relationships and service line and territory development. Following the successful merger of Voca and LINK Network Interchange to create VocaLink in July 2007, Martin continues to drive the company’s expansion into new markets and territories. His industry knowledge and insight has enabled VocaLink to capitalise on its unique selling points, and position itself to deliver a distinctive proposition for the Single Euro Payments Area (SEPA).
Prior to joining the company, Martin was deputy director for IT provision at ITSA, the IT Service Provider to the Department for Work and Pensions (DWP) and was responsible for the management of all the DWP benefit systems.
Ian Gausden, Director of Operations

Ian joined LINK Interchange Network in 2006. He is responsible for service delivery and operations, ensuring VocaLink's ‘never fail’ service reputation is protected and enhanced. His portfolio of projects and programmes is extensive but they have a common theme – delivering high quality products in a competitive and challenging financial services environment. Ian has more than 20 years management experience within the UK payments and consultancy industry, principally at Barclaycard’s Merchant Acquiring business where he was Head of Information Systems.
Martin Kearsley, Director of Strategy

Martin joined as Chief Executive of OneVu Ltd in 2003, a joint venture between Voca and Checkfree Corporation. Martin became acting Chief Innovations Officer of VocaLink in 2007. In his current role he maintains his responsibility for innovations which plays a key element in VocaLink’s business strategy for future commercial growth. Martin has over 25 years experience in IT companies ranging from Telco, Datacoms, IT Security and Financial Systems and Services. Following completion of his MBA, he has held several senior executive positions worldwide. These include CEO at Racal Global IT Security companies, and SVP of Datacard's Global Software business.
Debbie Lombard, Director of Human Resources and Organisational Development

Debbie joined Bacs in 1991. Within VocaLink she is responsible for enabling high levels of performance amongst all employees. Working in partnership with executive and senior management, her primary aim is to identify, recommend and implement all aspects of human resources and operational development strategy.
Debbie has over 15 years experience with the organisation; a unionised multi-site company that has transformed from an operational not-for-profit organisation into a commercial and competitive player in the international payments industry.
Nick Masterson-Jones, Director of Information Technology

Nick joined Bacs in 2003 and is responsible for upholding VocaLink’s reputation for service excellence, delivering and maintaining the company’s core technology assets. Nick is responsible for all IT development work and led the award-winning payments platform renewal programme from 2004 to 2006. Nick has over 20 years management experience working for high profile financial institutions such as JP Morgan, UBS, Reuters, Deloitte and Touche and several major UK banks.
