Our community charities
In 2011, a lot of focus has been given to the way that we engage
with our community partners to mitigate against shared risks.
Recommendations from the 2010 BiTC Index assessment have been
adopted through the design and implementation of formal partnership
contracts with our main community partners; Watford Mencap,
Henshaws and Keech Hospice Care. The objective of these agreements
is to document what both parties expect to achieve through the
partnership over a number of years.

Close to our Rickmansworth office is Watford Mencap; an
independent self-funding charity serving more than 500 people in
the South West Hertfordshire area with learning disabilities, as
well as their parents and carers.

Situated near our Harrogate offices is Henshaws Arts and
Crafts Centre in Knaresborough for the blind and visually
impaired.

VocaLink recently signed an official partnership agreement with
Keech Hospice Care Based in Bedfordshire and close to one of our
sites, this highly-regarded charity runs two purpose-built
hospices; one for adults in the Luton and south Bedfordshire region
and the other that supports children and young people across
Bedfordshire, Hertfordshire and Milton Keynes.
