Marion King
Chief Executive Officer
Marion joined as CEO in 2002 as the first female, first non-banker to lead the company. She is responsible for revolutionising payments in the UK and transforming VocaLink from a domestic back-office supplier into an international payments transaction specialist.
Marion has over 15 years experience in senior level management. Before joining the company, she held global leadership roles in Reuters, including managing director of its East Asia operation, and managing director of Reuters Global Transactions.

Claire Hafner
Chief Financial Officer
Claire joined VocaLink in August 2009 as Chief Financial Officer (CFO), and is responsible for all aspects of the company's financial management, including the accounting, commercial, procurement, and risk and compliance functions, as well as corporate strategy.
Claire joined VocaLink from Eversheds LLP where she was Finance Director (FD). In this role she was instrumental in turning around the financial operations of the company and running the IT, facilities and procurement functions. She also introduced a new global account management system that helped the company to win the FT Innovation Award for its billing and fee offering in 2008.
Prior to Eversheds, Claire worked as the acting FD of LCH Clearnet, and before this as the first FD of the IT and Operations division at Barclays Bank. In this position she set up the division's financial strategy and led large outsourcing and cost reduction initiatives across the business. Claire also held several finance director divisional roles at British Telecommunications as well as holding various board positions in BT's international joint ventures.

Ian Gausden
Chief Operating Officer
Ian joined LINK Interchange Network in 2006. He is responsible for IT and operations, ensuring VocaLink's 'never fail' service reputation is protected and enhanced. His portfolio of projects and programmes is extensive but they have a common theme - delivering high quality products in a competitive and challenging financial services environment. Ian has more than 20 years management experience within the UK payments and consultancy industry, principally at Barclaycard's Merchant Acquiring business where he was Head of Information Systems.

Fred Bär
Managing Director Euro Services
Fred Bär joined VocaLink in 2009 and is responsible for the company's continental European strategy, diversification and growth. Fred leads the overall business management of VocaLink's Euro Services offering which includes SEPA value added services and real-time payments.
Prior to his current role, Fred worked as a strategy consultant with the EBA Clearing in Paris and Brussels. Previously he served as Executive Vice President at Equens, the Dutch payments service provider where he had responsibility for marketing, sales and business development. During his 8 years at Equens/Interpay, he led the clearing house business unit and the e-purse business unit.
Before joining Interpay, he held management positions at KPN Mobile Telecom, Digital Equipment Corporation and Royal Dutch Shell.

David Conkleton
Managing Director Card Services
David Conkleton joined VocaLink in 2009 and is responsible for
the Card Services business unit, This responsibility includes
management of VocaLink's core contract with the LINK scheme, the
strategic development and leadership of the business in UK and
Europe, and the ongoing relationships with all Card Services
clients.
David has over 20 years experience in the IT services industry and
has broad experience in sales, business development and business
management primarily for Financial Services and Public Sector
clients. This experience includes development and management
of significant client relationships with EDS, and business
turnaround and growth activities as Managing Director of
Parity Solutions from where he joined VocaLink.

Nick Masterson-Jones
Managing Director Transaction Services
Nick Masterson-Jones has overall responsibility for the
company's Transaction Services business. This role includes
managing VocaLink's core contracts for Bacs, Faster Payments, the
UK Government and Bankgirocentralen (BGC), the Swedish ACH.
Nick is playing a key role in the outsourcing deal between
VocaLink and Swedish processor BGC, which will see the majority of
Swedish direct debit and credit transfer payments being processed
by VocaLink in the UK. This is a world first - the first time
the processing of a national payments scheme has been transferred
to a non-domestic provider.
In his previous role as Director of IT, Nick managed all IT
development work at VocaLink and was the driving force behind the
award-winning payments platform renewal programme from 2004 to
2006. In May 2007 Nick and his team were responsible for the
successful launch of the central infrastructure of the UK Faster
Payments Service. This was followed in January 2008 by the
successful launch of VocaLink's Euro Clearing and Settlement
services and the subsequent launch of SEPA Direct Debit in November
2009.
Nick has over 24 years management experience working for high
profile financial institutions such as JP Morgan, UBS, Reuters,
Deloitte and Touche and several major UK banks. He has held a
broad range of roles in banking, risk management and IT. Nick
joined VocaLink in 2003.

Mark Chapman
Director of Commercial Marketing
Mark Chapman joined VocaLink in January 2010 and brings twenty years of experience in the areas of business management and marketing. Mark is responsible for all aspects of marketing and corporate communications at VocaLink, as well as customer experience improvement.
During his career Mark has previously held senior positions at Lloyds TSB and Barclays, and has worked as a management consultant at Visa Europe and Santander.

Tim Ensor-Clinch
Director of Legal
Tim joined Bacs in 2003 to assist with the corporate restructuring process from which VocaLink was created as a separate infrastructure provider. He is responsible for the provision of legal and company secretarial services and is counsel to the group board, chairman and chief executive officer. Tim is also group company secretary for the holding company and intermediate subsidiary companies. His department is responsible for the management and provision of all legal and related advice and assistance across all business divisions.
Tim has been instrumental in the development of the VocaLink core scheme legal frameworks and the development of the company's corporate governance structure. Tim was called to the Bar in 1997 and has over 10 years experience as in-house counsel working in diverse industries.

Debbie Lombard
Director of HR and OD
Debbie joined Bacs in 1991. Within VocaLink she is responsible for enabling high levels of performance amongst all employees. Working in partnership with executive and senior management, her primary aim is to identify, recommend and implement all aspects of human resources and operational development strategy.
Debbie has over 15 years experience with the organisation; a multi-site company that has transformed from an operational not-for-profit organisation into a commercial and competitive player in the international payments industry.
