Our environmental programme will further reduce the group’s impact on the environment through operational improvements and building management across all our sites.

VocaLink is expanding its business offering to a wider customer base in Europe and the rest of the world.  This will result in increased demands on our computing power. Our aim is to contain increased demand for natural resources during this period of growth with the extension of blade server technology and thin clients in our desktop infrastructure.

Other energy conservation measures made possible by the installation of building management systems will enable us to tightly manage our energy usage. Our building management systems feature occupancy sensors which switch off lights when there is no one in the room.

We continue to engage staff on environmental related topics and listen to their ideas about how to further reduce the business needs for natural resources.
