OneVu gives consumers a convenient, paperless way to manage their finances and gives businesses a low-cost, environmentally friendly collections facility. The service is driving the move from paper bills to electronic bills that can be viewed, paid and tracked within online bank accounts.
Customers can pay bills by Direct Debit or Credit Transfer (Bacs Direct Credit). Soon they’ll be able to use the same-day Faster Payments service. Customers are alerted by email when a new bill arrives. They can then view the bill, pay it and archive it, all from within their internet bank site. The electronic payment is prepopulated with the details ensuring that the customer’s account can be accurately and promptly settled. We use the latest technology to ensure the neutrality and integrity of each party’s data connecting banks and billers with consumers.
Banks offering the service include LloydsTSB, RBS and NatWest. Other leading Banks are signing up to the OneVu service with a view to delivering greater customer satisfaction.
