Generic SWIFTNet Service (GSS) provides high-speed/high-volume messaging capability using SWIFTNet Messaging Services.
GSS has been developed primarily to support VocaLink SEPA euro clearing and settlement services. It can easily be extended to support other VocaLink applications.
Banks using the VocaLink Euro Clearing and Settlement Mechanism can use GSS to submit data. Any bank can use the Euro CSM, provided it has access to a TARGET2 account and is able to communicate with both VocaLink and SSP/TARGET2 over SWIFTNet.
