Bacs provides two principal electronic payment schemes; Direct Debit and Bacs Direct Credit. These products have increased convenience and provided peace of mind for tens of millions of consumers through the delivery of safe and efficient payments. 90% of UK salaries are paid by Bacs Direct Credit and research shows that 73% of adults in the UK now have at least one Direct Debit commitment and is the preferred solution for paying bills.
