This is the third survey by VocaLink tracking awareness and attitude to the Faster Payments Service in the UK. Faster Payments was launched in 2008 to provide instant transfer of value between UK bank accounts and will process over 400 million payments in 2010, comprising Single Immediate Payments and standing orders.
Consumer research objectives
- Track awareness of and interest in Faster Payments among consumers
- Understand what consumers know about the service
- Measure whether consumers have enjoyed a consistent user experience with Faster Payments
- Establish whether Faster Payments has changed or is likely to influence consumer usage of other payment methods, such as cash, cheque and credit card.
